Steve brings a depth of experience and knowledge in capital markets and investing to Legacy Bridge. With more than 30 years in the industry, Steve has held positions in Sell-Side and Buy-Side Research, Institutional Portfolio Management, and Investment Product Management.

Steve’s investment work spans globally, working primarily with domestic and emerging market equities. As a Portfolio Manager, Steve oversaw a team of nine analysts, managing a $400 million dollar portfolio. As the Senior Investment Strategist for Legacy Bridge, Steve works closely with the CIO in developing the firm’s Capital Markets Outlook, conducts securities analysis, and develops asset allocation models and trade execution.

After earning his BA in Economics and MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri, Steve began his investment career as a Sell-Side Equities Analyst with regional brokerage firm A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.

Steve was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, moving to the greater Des Moines area in 2001. Away from the office, you will find Steve spending quality time with his family, on the golf course, or enjoying activities with his grandchildren.
