“WE WORK TO SEAMLESSLY INTEGRATE OUR SERVICES TO MANAGE COMPLEXITY AND DELIVER PEACE OF MIND. WE HANDLE THE BUSINESS OF LIFE SO YOU CAN LIVE FOR SOMETHING BIGGER.”

Christine Fleming Halbrook

President

As President of Legacy Bridge, Christine Fleming Halbrook forges long-term relationships with families. Through focused conversations, she identifies issues, creates solutions, and solves the problems that face clients.

The ability to quickly identify current and potential challenges comes from Christine’s more than 13 years of experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families in various capacities, including complex estate planning strategies, probate matters, banking services, business and tax management, and wills, trust and powers of attorney. For the past nine years, Halbrook has been included in the annual Best Lawyers in America Report for Trusts and Estates, including being honored as “Lawyer of the Year” in Des Moines for Trusts and Estates in 2019.

Christine holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Drake University Law School in Des Moines. Before starting law school, Christine worked in Private Client Services at Bank One (now JP Morgan).

Christine grew up in Des Moines and has one sister. She enjoys playing tennis and spending time with her family: her husband John and their two children, James and Sophia. The whole family is active in Cub Scouting (Boy Scouts of America)—even the dog, who is named Scout. Christine’s favorite vacation is spending time at the family cabin in Canada.

“I want my legacy to be a genuine reflection of my core values—honesty, compassion and laughter.”
